Staff:
Lecturers include specialists in geopolitics, geostrategy, defence sciences and security sciences from various countries, including: Poland, UK, Romania, Georgia, Denmark. The lecturers include both theorists with an established academic record and experts with professional experience gained in the security and defence sectors (including military executives) and the areas of geopolitical investment risk analysis and geostrategic security analysis.
Purpose of the Study:
The aim of the study is to expand the knowledge and improve the qualifications of both those professionally involved in broadly defined security issues and those who plan to associate themselves professionally with institutions and companies in the analytical field of international security.
The degree programme is aimed at those who currently or in the future intend to become specialists in fields such as international security, geopolitical risk, geostrategic analysis, including:
- government officials (particularly analytical units);
- employees of analytical companies (investment risks, etc.);
- soldiers, officers and civilian employees of the uniformed services;
- university graduates
- others interested in geopolitics and geostrategy.
Graduate profile:
Graduates of the Geopolitics and Geostrategy postgraduate programme will possess the theoretical and practical knowledge necessary for analytical positions related to the processing of data on the international security environment. The course is addressed to all those wishing to acquire not only a solid foundation of theoretical knowledge in the field of geopolitics and geostrategy, but also to become familiar with modern methods and techniques of geostrategic analysis, geopolitical risk analysis (including country risk and analysis of crisis potentials of states), analysis of information threats in the cognitive sphere.

Recruitment – place and procedure for submitting documents:
Students of postgraduate studies may be persons holding bachelor’s, engineer’s or master’s degree. Recruitment for course is conducted on a continuous basis, while commencement of course depends on the number of applications.

In addition, an enrolment fee of PLN 90 / EUR 20 should be paid to the PL08124013851111000011858553 (please indicate the name of the postgraduate course in the title of the payment: GEOPOLITICS AND GEOSTRATEGY 2024). If the payment is made by a company or another person, the name and surname of the student should be given additionally). If for some reason the course is not launched, the fee is refunded.
Classes are held on Friday afternoons, Saturdays and Sundays (every 2 weeks). Students will be informed of the detailed schedule of classes at least 14 days before the start of the semester.
Due to the nature of the course and the form of teaching, the number of seats is limited. Admission is determined on a first-come, first-served basis.
